Dear SPAS Parents,

 I hope that you are all doing well and staying safe this week.  Saint Paul American School is concluding our fourth week of classes and beginning the October holiday break.  It has been an exciting month with new developments and opportunities which are helping both of our programs, both offline and online, thrive and grow. 

It will be a short week next week leading into the holiday.  After four weeks of class time, it will be a welcome break for both students and teachers.  In order to help students attending live classes in Beijing to avoid the traffic and serious congestion of holiday travel, we will be ending our school day early.  In order to match the rigor and schedule for all our online students, we will also be cancelling our A, B, C, D period classes which normally take place at 3:35-5:10PM KST on Wednesday. 

However, those students enrolled in Astronomy, Biology, Middle School Science, or Geology, your students will have make-up classes during the October holiday at the normal assigned class times.  This is so we can make-up for the lost time from the first week and align progress for the remainder of the semester.

모두 즐겁고 안전한 한 주를 보내고 있으시길 바랍니다. 세인트폴 미국학교는 4주간의 수업을 마무리하고 곧 10월 휴일을 시작합니다. 저희 오프라인과 온라인 프로그램이 새로운 기회와 발전을 통하여 번창하고 성장하는데 도움이된 즐거운 한 달이었습니다.

휴일이 있는 이번주는 짧은 한 주가 될 것입니다. 4주간의 수업이 지나서, 학생들과 교사들 모두에게 반가운 휴일이 될 것입니다. 북경에서 면대면 수업을 하는 학생들이 교통 혼잡과 심각한 휴일 여행 혼잡을 피할 수 있도록 하루 일정을 일찍 끝낼것입니다. 모든 온라인 학생들의 엄격함과 일정을 맞추기 위하여 보통 오후3:35-5:10 (한국시간)에 이루어지는 수요일 (9월 30일)의 A,B,C,D 수업을 취소하기로 하였습니다.   

하지만 Astronomy, Biology, Middle School Science, 또는 Geology수업을 듣는 학생들은 10월 휴일 동안 정규 수업 시간에 보충 수업을 받게 될 것입니다. 이부분은 첫 주에 못한 수업을 보충하고 남은 학기 동안의 진도를 맞추기 위함입니다.
