다음주부터 온라인 학생들이 사용할 새로운 시간표와 관련된 교장 선생님의 서신을 전달드립니다.

Dear Parents, 

I hope that you are all doing well and staying safe in recent days. The semester is now half complete, and we will be processing report cards and grades in the upcoming days ahead. In reflection; the Spring semester truly moves quickly, as it does every year, and summer will soon be upon us. 

In our continued pursuit to improve our online program and support student learning, we will be making a final modification to our online bell schedule for the year. In our recent focus studies, administrative meetings, and discussions based on student and teacher needs, we have found that student require more opportunities for reassessment and time to meet with teachers, and the result is the schedule you see below. 

All online students are asked to follow this new bell schedule from next week Monday, April 26. We believe that this new schedule will represent a beneficial change for students and for student-teacher contact throughout the week. As we focus more on the awareness of mental health concerns, over-exposure to screen time, and as we have set our sights on the end of the school year, fast approaching, we will continue to monitor the improvements made by our student-centered adjustments.

모두 잘 그리고 안전하게 지내고 있으시 길 바랍니다. 이제 학기의 반이 지나, 앞으로 며칠 동안 성적과 성적표를 작업할 것입니다. 매년 그래왔듯이 봄학기는 정말 빠르게 지나가고 있고, 곧 여름이 다가올 것입니다.

학생들의 학습을 지속적으로 지원하기 위해 온라인 프로그램을 개선하고 올해 수업 시간표를 최종으로 수정할 예정입니다. 최근 연구, 행정 회의, 학생들과 선생님들의 니즈에 따른 토론을 통해서 학생들이 재평가 기회와 선생님들을 만날 시간이 더 필요하다는 것을 알게 되었습니다. 이를 반영하여 아래와 같은 시간표를 만들었습니다:

위의 새로운 시간표는 다음주 월요일 (4월 26일)부터 적용됩니다. 이 새로운 시간표가 매주 학생들과 선생님들이 만날 수 있는 기회를 늘려주고, 학생들에게 유익한 변화를 가져올 것이라고 믿습니다. 학생들의 건강과 컴퓨터 화면 노출을 최소화 하는데 더욱 초점을 맞추고, 빠르게 다가올 학년 말을 준비하면서 학생 중심의 조정 사항들을 통한 발전을 지속적으로 모니터링해 나가겠습니다.
